The 3-hour adventure begins from Honokohau Marina as our experienced captains take you along the coast in search of mantas and other types of marine life commonly found in the nearshore environment. Depending on the season, we may find other types of marine life as well-schools of akule, sharks, and whales. Please note that nature is wild and keeps no schedules, so it is impossible to guarantee any particular wildlife sighting on any given day. That being said, our experienced captain and crew have decades of experience between them and will do all they can to ensure you have a memorable experience.
After enjoying the nearshore wildlife, we will proceed to one of several beautiful snorkeling spots along the Kona Coast. There are many amazing spots and secluded coves and remote black sand beaches. We will choose the best location based on the weather and conditions of the day.
After snorkeling is complete, refreshments will be served before we start our adventure back to the marina. The ride home is super-fun and exhilarating as we put the Ocean Warrior through its paces, demonstrating its speed and maneuverability. As we return, we hug the shoreline for close-up sight-seeing of sea caves, lava tubes, and incredible rock formations.
This trip is similar to our slightly longer blue water and reef snorkeling tour, except that it does not include offshore blue water marine encounters. The objective of this trip is to explore the nearshore environment and the critters you find there–Hawaiian green sea turtles, manta rays, and large schools of fish.

- Selection of cold beverages, snacks, and tropical fruit
